"Rain, Rain, go away!" and "Catch the moon".
Ben and I took Dylan on a walk around the neighborhood on Monday night. It had just finished raining and was beautiful outside! We were talking about the rain and he just blurted out with "rain, rain go away!". We continued walking and then he saw the moon in the sky. He stopped, said "Catch- moon" and pointed, and then tried to jump in the air to catch the moon. It was the cutest thing!

desperate times call for desperate measures
Last Friday Dylan woke up with a stuffy nose. By the time 5pm rolled around it was a full on cold. You know what that means in our family...sleepless nights, screaming, yelling, chaos, breathing treatments and the whole 9 yards. Saturday AM we were in the Dr's at 9am with an earache and cold. Antibiotics for the earache and the cold just had to run its course. Ben got it Sunday, I got it Monday, and we are finally (almost) today back to normal. When Dylan gets a cold he dosen't sleep or eat. Tuesday PM I got home from work and D was all out of sorts. I sent Mimi home and took the last hour of the day to try to get him back on track. He had not eaten much in 3 days so I finally introduced him to the chic-fil-a milk shake. The kid LOVES a milk shake!!!! Yay for some sort of nutrition!!
on the way home from chic fil a. I guess some sort of nutrition is better than none:)
Just getting home. Still holding on to the shake!
He took his milkshake to the backyard for playtime!
Boys and baby grands...
There has always been piano music in my house. My mom plays beautifully, my gifted and talented two younger sisters are naturals, and then there is me who picks at it and hates to practice but love the sound of music in my house! My Dad (papa), gave me an antique piano when he found out I was pregnant with Dylan. I picked a little while I was pregnant but the pictures below describe exactly what has come of a baby grand piano and an 18 month little boy. Maybe there is hope with Kylie and Joanna's kids!

Mother's day
I had a great weekend with Dylan! I got a beautiful bouquet of flowers on Saturday night and Sunday morning I woke up to a new vacuum cleaner waiting for me downstairs (yay, I think??). We ran out of K-cups for the coffee maker so Dylan and I ran over to Dunkin in our pj's and I grabbed a coffee and doughnut for D. He loved his sprinkles and icing. Then we all went for a walk in the park. That afternoon the family came over and we cooked burgers. Great day with my little man!

As if we didn't already have enough tacky yard toys, I brought out the baby pool this weekend! Dylan had a ball sliding down the little slide and splashing in his pool! Our neighbors LOVE us:)

Oreo's for breakfast?? Just one please??
Who do you love? He doesn't like me to video him so I took this while we were on our walk in the park.
Ben taught Dylan to sing Bob Marley's "Jammin". He walks around the house going "jammin, jammin, jammin etc". He loves the song!
"Ben"
Dylan now calls Daddy by his real name "Ben". He has heard me call upstairs to get Ben's attention so now he walks around calling/yelling "Ben!!". Dada is not too happy about this new change! Oops!
