snuggle time

Dylan was just out of the bathtub, we were in our pj's, all snuggled up and watching Thomas with my sweet baby and Scout puppy.  Happiness:)

 I tried to take a picture of Dylan's bed head when he woke up from nap.  He gets really angry these days when I bring out the camera.  This is his "Don't even think about taking my picture" face.

Uhhh, slight run in with the cast iron chair.  Poor baby!  He was a trooper though and only cried for a minute before he was smiling again.  This was actually taken last week and you can barely tell where it was.  For the record I HATE THOSE CHAIRS!!  I'm getting new ones ASAP.

"Love you Mommy"

This morning Dylan and I were out in the back yard waiting for Mimi to get here so I could go to work.  When she arrived they started playing and I told him that I was going to work now and would see him later.  I walked up on the back porch and was about to go inside when I heard, "Love you Mommy".  Melt my heart, I almost cried!  Such a sweet boy!

2012 Olympic trials

We have been watching the Olympics all week!  Sunday night we watched the 100m sprints and I told Ben that I wanted to see how fast he could run it.  Monday night we went out by Umstead  for the big race and Daddy sprinted to the finish line in about 13 seconds (even in his khaki shorts!).  I was very impressed and so was Dylan.  Dylan has been practicing his sprints and back flips and is getting really good at both!  Future olympian maybe??
