Dylan's 3rd birthday round 1

Dylan is 3 years old!  We had the most beautiful weekend for a birthday weekend and I loved every minute!!!  These pics below are mostly from my cell phone and my little camera.  Ben has the "real" photos from his birthday party coming soon.  Friday, I took the day off on Dylan's real birthday, the 25th.  Below are a few pictures of Dylan and Miles just hanging out around the house.  I had big plans to take the boys to Pullen Park to ride the carousel but thanks to Joanna/Pat we had a WONDERFUL day at home playing with his new remote control car, Mudslinger!  We just played in the backyard and cul-de-sac with his new car, ate spaghetti that night with family and a few neighbors, and decorated cakes/organized for his party on Saturday.
Sweet Dylan just sunbathing in the grass!

We decorated his cakes with sprinkles.  Dylan LOVES sprinkles and since it was his birthday I just gave him a bowl and a spoon!
Miles is already stealing Dylans toys!!!

Sweet brothers playing with the new remote control car in the backyard.
First somewhat cute picture of them both looking at the camera and smiling!!

Dylan is really in to his new car!
Miles smiles:)....all the time!!!  He is the happiest baby!!

Miles 7 months old!

Sweet Miles was 7 months old on October 6th.  He sat up from a laying position all by himself on his birthday.  I found him sitting up in the crib in the third picture.  Other accomplishments are that he sits well by himself, started meats and citrus (see pic below of first time he ate Mom's spaghetti), smiles and coos all the time, got his first cold/fever while I was away in Alabama (thanks to preschool for getting us all sick), and is otherwise a very happy and sweet baby!

In other news, Dylan painted his pumpkin and learned to ride his strider bike this week!

videos of Dylan and Miles.

The above link takes you to a quick story from the one and only Dylan Wolfe.  While we were waiting to get ready to leave for the game Dylan quickly thought up a way to keep us amused for a while and started out with this story.  I missed the first sentence or two but it started like "this one day, when I was little, my grandma took me hunting in the woods".  The stories he comes up with are just hilarious.

Here is a quick video of Miles on his 7 month birthday.

Cowboy fanny, wolfpack fun, and just randoms

I found Dylan prancing around the kitchen while wearing Ben's new cowboy boots.  Of course, there were no pants or underwear anywhere around.  Loved that I caught a few shots of his cowboy fanny running around the house!

Getting ready to watch State play.  Dylan has been working on his wolfpack sign!
Firehouse subs is a family routine on Sundays.  Here are my two little firemen after we ate lunch
One day, Dylan had a hard time napping so I told him to just go find a few book or something to help him pass the hour of quiet time.  When he came out of the room he was crying and upset because he had found a book of stickers and put them all over his leg.  They hurt him terribly to get off.  I asked him why he put so many and he replied "Mama, I was decorating my leg!"  haha.
