Miles first birthday!!

Miles is ONE!!! Our happy baby boy turned one on March 6th. We had a little family party with spaghetti and cake. Highlights of Miles at one year

-almost walking (taking few steps at almost 13 months now)

-mama, dada, nana, night night, bye bye, uh oh,

-still napping most am and pm

-1st molar broke through just after his 1st birthday, 9 total teeth

-smiles so much

-Loves his brother, books, Scout, crawling, and mostly being outside!

-loves dancing and music

February 2014

February flew by! Here are a few highlights below

Dylan had his first dentist appointment in February! He was such a good boy! Side note: We actually had to go back to the dentist today (April 3rd) after a huge face plant over the handlebars of his strider bike and into the concrete. This happened last night on our PM walk as he decided to try "offroading" on his stider bike. Apparently the transition from grass to concrete is a little tricky! Dont worry Nana, he's fine. Just two chipped front teeth, a split top frenulum, busted lip, and one front tooth that pointed towards the back of his mouth (it has since moved back in place but could possibly end up with some discoloration). This all following our busted forehead on the spigot last Friday night and a debate about stitches vs butterfly clips. We went for a weeks worth of butterfly clips and a small scar! Life with boys I guess...anyway, back to Feburary!

I took him to our favorite Lynwood Grill after his dentist appointment. Alll smiles :)

Sweet baby loves to play in the fridge! It's his favorite place to hang out and though not very energy efficient, it saves me 15-20 minutes to get lunch ready!

Fresh start for 2014

Well, I have to start somewhere so here we go. I know it has been a while since I've been able to load any pictures. The past couple months have been really crazy for us! I know I completely missed Christmas and will try to load pictures later. For those of you who haven't heard Ben was in a car accident in mid-December and broke a vertabrate and has some soft tissue damage. He has been slowly healing but is ready to be back in action. Since then, my photographer has been out of business so I've mostly taken iPhone photos. Here are a few pictures from January and I hope to update more often as this seems to be my best "memory book" for the kids.

Family ride in the new Ranger. We have all been SOOOO sick the past two weeks with bronchitis, etc so it was nice that the snow came just as we began to recover. We all got out just a bit for a ride in the snow and Aunt Kylie came to play.

FINALLY!! This was taken last week and was the first time Ben has been able to pick up Miles in over a month. The doctor told him not to pick up more than a gallon of milk but I told him that Miles was our little sack of sugar so he probably didn't weigh much more than that:)
