It has been a busy December so I'm just now catching up on photos that are weeks overdue! Here are some pictures from the past couple weeks. We went to my friend, Katy's, house and played on the four wheeler, held a real chicken, fed the cows, rode a tractor, and played with her cat! Dylan loved visiting with Katy and baby Liza and he can't wait to go back soon!
I had never held a chicken so this was new to me too!
Helping Katy take the feed to the cows
I was a little nervous to let my baby out there with these huge beasts but Dylan didn't blink an eye and thought it was great!

Playing with the sweetest cat ever! He loves cats!
We built a gingerbread train one Sunday morning. Dylan had so much candy that morning I thought he would bounce off the walls!
One rainy day he put on his rain boots and went fishing in the puddles. Too cute!
Yes baby, you are handsome like your daddy:)
Cheese!
Goofball~
Busted in the act. I thought it was too quiet to be true!
Swinging in the back yard. This day he leaned his head back, closed his eyes, and just let us swing him quietly for almost 30 minutes. He was so relaxed and it was so precious!

2012 Turkey Tournament video
http://youtu.be/UnNG_xTKECU
I took Dylan to the golf course so he could practice with the big boys. He had so much fun putting around with Papa and Papa Bell and actually had his first good hit! Thank goodness I caught it on video!

Visit to see Santa. Dylan did much better this year. He walked right up to Santa and told him he wanted a train and then sat in his lap and posed for a few pictures. I was so happy there were no tears!
New Bern waterfront with Mama. These are some of my favorite pictures of all times!
LOVE!!!
So watch the sequence of the next few pictures to see an accident in action!
What a wonderful year in New Bern. We had perfect weather and the whole family together.

My blue superman cape
We put "Blue blanket" on Dylan as a cape and he thought it was the best thing ever! He ran all over the house saying "da da da da, superman!". I couldnt believe it but he actually held still and posed while I snapped a few pictures! (sorry for the lack of underwear, this superhero doesn't wear any!)
If only he would always smile this cute for me!!
I think he's telling me "NO" more pictures mom!

Overdue Halloween photos
I'm a little late posting these Halloween pictures. We had fun going to the neighborhood Halloween parade and pizza party. On the walk home we hit a few houses and had our first "real" trick or treat experience. He lasted for about 5 houses and then wanted to go home.

Yo habla espanol!
Yep, that's right! Apparently all those hours we spent watching Dora has finally paid off (haha). Last night Dylan told us he had to potty (Yay, progress there) and he got the last two M&M's out of the package. He took his little package over to the table and grabbed his new scissors and started chopping away. He must have cut that package into 100 pieces all over the floor and he looks up at me and says "Peluqueira" (Spanish for barber).

Dylan's two year stats!
We had our two year old check up today and Dylan got another healthy report card! He did great visiting with Dr. Foor and was such a good boy during the visit! He seems to be right on track and has really grown over the past 6 months! He's tall and has really packed on some pounds! Here are the stats below:
Height 37 3/4"=97%
Weight 32 lbs=90%
head 65%
I can not believe the boy has grown 17.25 inches in two years and weighs 4x what he did at birth. That is so amazing to me!!
Other 2 year milestones/highlights are:

Other 2 year milestones/highlights are:
- talks very well, some full sentences.
- started potty training. He's doing well with reminders and LOTS of bribing (put that Halloween candy to use!)
- moving to his big boy bed this week! Pics to come soon
- LOVES Dora, Thomas the Train, Barney, Umizoomis, and Bob the Builder
- Lots of temper tantrums, but also lots of very sweet moments. He has become much more affectionate lately with "I love you's" and hugs/kisses.
- Knows that he's going to be a big brother. The other day we were on a walk and out of the blue he pulls up my shirt, kisses my tummy, and says "Hey baby brother!" It was so sweet.
- Very, very active. Loves running, jumping, rolling, and otherwise keeping us all in good shape!
- sleeps well. Usually down around 8-8:30pm and up around 7-7:30am. Naps from 1:30-3:30ish. The recent time change has thrown us off a bit.
- Eats well. Favorites are vegetable soup, spaghetti, plain noodles, broccoli, carrots, Oreos, and oatmeal creme pies!
- Wears some 2T, some 3T clothes and a size 7 shoe.

The hand slipper
Dylan found one of Ben's winter gloves hiding behind a cabinet in his "new" room that we are preparing. He walked in my bedroom this morning wearing the glove and I asked him what he had found. He replied, "Hand Slipper".
